31st April 2006 – Short-listed at Cannes competition!
About a month ago ‘Space Chase’ was accepted in the short film market at Cannes 2006 (know as ‘Short Film Corner’). We were pleased with this as it will help promote the film internationally and hopefully increase its profile with distributors.

Then on Friday everything changed when we received a call from Montréal. Every year the National Film Board of Canada and Cannes Short Film Corner view all entries for the Cannes market and pick the best ten to go forward for their annual competition.

And this year ‘Space Chase’ will be one of the ten short-listed films at the Cannes Short Film Corner 2006!!

All ten films will be able to be viewed online between Monday 8th May and Monday 22nd May. During that time members of the public from all over the world are asked to vote for their favourite film. We will provide more information (including the all important weblink) when we get it. Stay tuned…

26th August 2005 – Not long before we shoot
Final preparations are currently going on in the ‘Space Chase’ Production Office. Or should I say offices as we’ve expanded next door. Our original office now hold five members of the production staff (our two producers, manager, co-ordinator and assistant) and next door is used for directors’ meetings, 1st AD briefing etc.

We’ve having allsorts of deliveries come in each day from clothing samples from the likes of Addidas to health and safety substances. I wonder what the chances of us being able to get a third office are…?

Yours stressed, tired but happy!
